I am currently in Hawaii on the Big Island. My parents, brother, sister, and I are on a week vacation here. It is amazing here. We are staying in a condo right on the beach. There are sea turtles in the tide pools right outside our patio. The sound of waves are constant. The weather is great. Low 70's to high 80's all day long, slight wind, cloudy with some sun peaking through. It is quite humid as well. I feel like my body is going through some skin therapy 24/7. Being from Arizona where everything is dry and hot, I am at a spa for an entire week. : )
So far we have driven to the other side of the island, have gone snorkeling, went on a helicopter ride over the volcano, walked through caves and lava tubes, hiked through the rainforest, seen about 6 waterfalls, swung on vines like Tarzan, watched sea turtles in tide pools, eaten amazing food, and we are only half way through the vacation. Today the plan is to snorkel all day in an area full of colorful fish and tons of sea turtles.
Good news! I got the job at the veterinary clinic up at Care Free Hwy. It is an answer to many prayers and has relieved a lot of stress for me. God is good!
